Hello and thank you for visiting my Help for Heroes fundraising page. Like me, many of you work in the defence industry and will have many colleagues amongst the military services; the servicemen and women who use our kit on a daily basis. Also like me, I am sure that you recognise the outstanding job that they do under often very difficult circumstances. Help for Heroes is undertaking important work to support the wounded from both current theatres throughout their recovery. I hope that you see this as a truely worthwhile cause that merits your support.

On April 13th, I will be running, for the second time, the London Marathon, this time to support Help for Heroes. In preparation for this, I will be running over 500 miles in training. Although ultimately a joyous endeavour, I hope that my blood, sweat and tears are sufficient catalyst for you to dig deep and support this good cause.

Last year, I completed the marathon in 3hr57 fighting cramp for the last miles and at the finish line I swore never again . Fortunately, my memory of pain is shortlived and I am this year targeting 3hr30. To help me to achieve my goal, I welcome any words of encouragement and motivation and of course buckets of sponsorship money to remind me of why I am doing all of this. So, please dig deep and sponsor me now through this page.
