Hello, thank you for visiting my JustGiving page. 

 

I have decided to raise a few bob for Action for Children.  Action for Children supports and speaks out for the most vulnerable and neglected children and young people in the UK.  They are a very deserving charity and I would like to help those less fortunate than ourselves.

 

Over the weekend of 21-23 May, Phil ’wetherspoon’ Barrowclough and a group of brave HAYS staff will struggling over the Lake District, undertaking a unique challenge called “Beat the Moon”. 

 

The challenge involves 20 miles of cycling, 9 miles of trekking (Scarfell Pike), Canoeing across (Wast Water) and running for 1 mile to the finish line before the Moon comes up - In one day.

 

Monies raised from this event will go to directly to Action for Children.  I am making a personal contribution to cover expenses and taking a bike, walking boots etc.
