40 years ago I did a bit of competitive diving. The last time I went on any diving board was in 1980 but some time ago I foolishly undertook to try and repeat some of my competition dives from a 10 metre platform when I was 60.
On 20th June I did manage to get off a 10 metre board five times and just about survived. It was a bit of a struggle and I'd forgotten how hard the water is and how high 10 metres is.
I am raising funds for The Primrose Hospice in this endeavour and you can see that people have been extremely generous, most donating in advance of me actually doing anything. However, for those who want a bit of proof that I really did get in head first before getting your credit cards out we managed to get a couple of video clips which you can view by clicking the "my video" button on the left or searching on the youtube web site under "Primrose Hospice Dive".
Please be generous for this very worthy cause.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Primrose Hospice and Cancer Help Centre gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
