Story
Hi Everyone!
In June this year, Phil Ivison and Geoff Spencer will be cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats. Our 'big adventure' is in celebration of Phil's 60th birthday, his retirement from the helm of Dinsdale Construction and also, very importantly, to raise money for Butterwick Hospice. The cycle ride is just over 900 miles long. We hope to complete it in 13 days, starting on June 23rd and finishing on July 5th. The biggest ride we've ever done before is the Coast to Coast which is only 150 miles-ish. So it is a big ask!
We aim to raise over £3000 for Butterwick Hospice by our efforts. So, if you can, please support us by signing up for sponsorship using the link below. It's for a very good cause!
Many Thanks.......Phil and Geoff

We made it!! We completed our marathon ride at midday on Monday 6th July to cheering fans (i.e. the two other halves). We travelled the length and breadth of the country - 968 miles - in 13 days and only got rained on for 2 miles of the entire journey. If you would like to read the diary of our ride you can find it on http://philandgeoff.blogspot.com . Many thanks to everyone who has helped us to acheive this and also for all the donations made to the Butterwick Hospice - we have far exceeded our expectations. Now all we need to do is have a rest!!
Phil and Geoff
