Nordoff and Robbins is the UK’s largest music therapy charity, with a unique approach shaped by more than 60 years of practice. Through the power of music, it breaks through the barriers caused by life-limiting illness, disability and social isolation. The charity does this through providing music therapy to people across the UK, whilst also training the music therapists of the future and funding research to measure and improve the impact of its work.

Story

Dear friends

January 22 to 24th

As you will soon understand from my Pharaoh like garb I will be attempting to raise a sum for Nordoff Robbins (NR) who run fantastic music therapy classes and events for children who may be underprivileged, with with disabilities or illnesses .  So whether you like heavy metal or classical I would ask you to contribute even a small amount for a very worthy cause. I know that some of you may take satisfaction in the idea of me cycling 150 over 3 days Kilometers down the Nile in the searing heat, all the while trying to dodge the powerful gnashing jaws of the river crocodiles whilst trying to barter for some water with the locals.

It's very easy to donate online with a credit or debit card - just go to my JustGivingpage http://www.justgiving.com/philip-serfaty or send a cheque made out to Nordoff-Robbins to me at my office at: 7 Earls Court Square , London SW5 0HW and I will do the rest for you.

If you like you can find out more about the charities at www.nordoff-robbins.org.uk/ and www.childline.org.uk and it should be noted that (NR) will pay half of the profits to Childline from their collections here and elsewhere.

JustGiving sends your donations straight to N-R  and automatically reclaims 28% Gift Aid if you're a taxpayer so your donation is worth even more.

Email sent via JustGiving to which email replies should be sent.... not to me!

Thanks.
