Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

Will and I successfully completed our walk to Cropredy despite rain, heat and mad cyclists.  Along the way we met lots or really nice people too some of whom kindly sponsored us.  We have now exceeded our target and would like to thank everyone who has sponsored us so generously.  However, the page isn't closed just yet and if you would like to make a contribution we would be delighted.  Every penny raised goes towards helping the Transverse Myelitis Society send Kaitlian Rogers to John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, USA for groundbreaking treatment for her rare condition.

Kaitlan walked at 9 months but at 13 months old she was struck down by this neurological disease and was paralysed from the neck down.  Kaitlan is now nearly 10 and with a lot of hard work and perseverance she has regained the use of her arms and attends a mainstream school.  Her family hope that treatment at the John Hopkins would give Kaitlan the chace of walking again.

You can find out more about how the overall appeal is going by visiting:

As soon as I've managed to work out the technology I will download some of the photos I took along the way.

Many thanks
