As many of you know I work with premature and newborn babies, and I think I have the best job in the world.  However, the work can also be very stressful and heartbreaking, especially when the babies become very ill during the time they are in NICU, and inevitably some of them die.

I decided about 18 months ago that I wanted to raise money to help these babies, some of whom I care for.  BLISS, the special care baby charity, provide support and care to premature and sick babies across the UK.  They offer guidance and information at a critical time in families' lives.  They also fund ground-breaking research and campaign for babies to receive the best possible level of care regardless of when and where they are born.

My friend, Felicity Schneider and I will be going on a Cycle Challenge from London to Paris over four days from 02 September 2009, and we want to raise as much as we can for this wonderful and worthwhile charity.  And this is where you come in!  I am asking for your sponsorship.
