You may know someone who has cancer right now and you're sure to know of someone who has had cancer, died of cancer, survived cancer in the past.  Bowel cancer is one in 8 cases.

Right now someone I love is fighting bowel cancer and I want to support this charity which is based at Barts, Royal London (the hospital where he is being treated) and doing research to improve the lives and survival rates of people with bowel disease and cancer.

Personally I have never even done a 5km run before but I am training very hard and running the Amsterdam Marathon on October 17th.
