Story

The Challenge

John 'Tiny' Weatherill (Bangor Branch Manager will be taken treking 145 miles in just over a week across via 10 of our Plumbmaster Branches. Sound tough... but he'll be doing this while sleeping rough in branches and with a boiler on his back....

The Story

Here at Plumbmaster we have partnered up with Belfast Live to raise funds for The Welcome Organisation charity to help them purchase a mobile health unit that will support homeless people living on the streets in Belfast.

The campaign aims to raise £25,000 over the coming months that will fund a potentially life-saving service.

The homeless situation is getting a lot worse, it is frightening walking through Belfast and frightening to see so many young people on the streets. If we can do anything to help then we want to do it. One of our staff tragically lost her sister as part of this just a couple of years ago.

Our customers and friends are incredibly generous, so we are asking all to help us raise the money we need to help the campaign.

Detail

  • Starting 8am on 23rd  June 2019 at Coleraine Branch
  • Finish 1pm (approx.) 29th June at Newry Branch
  • Through all the branches (except Enniskillen) on
    route
  • Approx 145 miles

Tiny will be:

  • Carrying a Gas Boiler Shell (provided
very generously by Vaillant Gas Boilers)
  • Sleeping rough at each branch, either inside
branch or in the back of a lorry/transit

Thank you for your generosity,

The Plumbmaster Team
