Story

Three Guys, One Car, Eight Countries!  3699 miles!

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Team Banger Boys; James Cholerton, Rizwan Asif and Matt Faulks are taking part in the "Plymouth-Banjul Challenge 2007"...the ultimate Banger Rally!

We depart on 26th December 2006, and hope to return around three weeks later, after completing just under 4000 miles from Plymouth to Banjul on the west coast of Africa.

For further information on this perilous adventure, see our website www.bangerboys.co.uk

The vehicle and equipment will be auctioned to raise money for small scale African charities in The Gambia, and all sponsorship and donations will go directly to the "Renal Unit Fund" at Nottingham city hospital.

We have specifically chosen this charity, as it is close to our hearts having personally benefitted and helped James enormously, following a kidney transplant in 1996.

We feel the charity is particularly beneficial, as funds go to areas official funding normally does not reach.  This means helping provide extra equipment, facilities and events that really do touch and improve the lives and wellbeing of the patients and staff.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us.  If you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us generously!

Many thanks for your support.
