The idea of the Triathlon Challenge began on NYE 2010 when Tommy 'the tank' Brammeld persuaded us all (after a few drinkies..) that it would be a good idea for us all to sign up to the Leeds Triathlon... and here we are!

On Sunday 12th September the four of us are taking part in the Leeds Triathlon which is an Olympic distance competition (gulp!) which consists of :-

* a 1 mile open water swim in a very cold Roundhay Lake 

* a 40km gruelling bike ride

* a 10k very hilly run

For the past few months we have all dedicated hours upon hours of training to ensure we make it around the course in one piece - well hopefully!

Our motivation, and the thing that has kept us going is our chosen charity - Cancer Research UK.

I'm sure like us, you all know someone - friends, family and loved ones - who have been affected in one way or another by cancer which is why we would like to raise as much money as possible to help fight against this disease.

So we hope you can dig deep and we thankyou in advance for your support....
