Story
The Three Peaks Challenge involves ascending the highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon) within 24 hours.
The Property Peakers team consists of: Mark Heighton, Alistair Kennedy, Caroline Kennedy, Chris Riddell, Crystal Wright and Ben Wells.
The difficulty of any of this challenge shouldn't be underestimated. It is very easy to get lost, particularly on the National Three Peaks and Welsh 3000s, and especially when mountains need to be climbed in the dark or in poor weather.
So this is why we have decided to face the challenge to raise money for the Lord Mayor's Appeal which aims to develop and support four fantastic charities:
- Beating Bowel Cancer works to support all those affected by bowel cancer, as well as improving awareness of the condition and promoting early diagnosis.
- Princess Alice Hospice is a charity dedicated to providing free, high-quality compassionate care and support for patients, their families and carers.
- Working Chance is a charity which transforms the lives of women ex-offenders by finding them jobs with quality employers.
- Raleigh International is a sustainable development charity. It harnesses the passion and energy of young people to drive position change in sustainable development.
We have been set a high target of raising £2,100 as a team, so all donations will be gratefully received.
