Story

Thank you so much for your sponsorship of this challenge, undertaken in loving memory of our son Alexander who we lost in April.

SANDS has been a meaningful resource to us during this very difficult time. It is an amazing organisation that supports anyone affected by the death of a baby and promotes research to reduce the loss of babies' lives. If you are interested in more information you can find the SANDS website at www.uk-sands.org.

On the 28th July, Chris cycled the length of the South Downs Way, from Winchester to Eastbourne, to raise money for this incredibly worthwhile charity. The route is a very challenging 100 mile off-road ride that includes a total of 10,000 feet of vertical climbing over rough terrain. After the torrential rain during June and July the ground was very wet and muddy and, despite a following wind for the last half of the ride, it took 12 hours and 45 minutes to complete.

Your support means a great deal to us.

With our thanks,

Chris and Sascha
