In February 2012, in the small village of Miskin, South Wales a one year old boy called George and his young Dad Paul tragically passed away. Paul is a former pupil at Queens College and a talented sportsman. These events have devastated all who knew them and touched the whole community.
2 wish upon a star is a charity that George's Mum Rhian, who is a former PE teacher at Queens College, and a group of her friends set up, in memory of these two truly special people. It is their aim through the memory of Paul and George to raise money to improve and create better bereavement services with emphasis on the provision of immediate shock and trauma support required after losing a child.
The event concludes on Saturday 31st May at Queens College where a cricket match will be played to remember the talented sportsman. There will be refreshments and everyone is welcome to come and support.
