Fundraising for Cancer Research UK
Story
This September, we are planning to cycle from the Quito in Ecuador through South America to Cape Horn cycling 12000 km through the Andes, deserts and jungles of the continent with the aim of raising as many pounds as we cycle kilometres for Cancer Research UK.
We have also set up a 'Pen Pal Exchange' scheme which is designed to build relationships between children in the UK with children in South America. The objectives of the scheme are not only to create a network of friendships across the globe but also to promote the learning of the Spanish language and the dwindling skills of letter writing in a generation of emails and text messages.
