Story

300km later...

...and I actually arrived to Paris...

...and somebody managed to convince me that ORANGE is the new black!!!! (obviously I must have been exhausted...)

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR DONATIONS AND SUPPORT!

It has been a journey and these 3 days will not be forgotten.

Welcome to Rachele's Cyclevolution - Update: Although the original target was to become a sexy cyclist in Paris (approx. 300 km in 3 days) - the current target is to arrive to Paris in once piece.

Now it's time for a bit of fun and a cyclist's joke..

Q. Do you know what is the hardest part of learning to ride a bike?

A. The pavement.

February's Preparation Update: The good, the bad and the ugly! The good, it was great to have snow in London...The bad, I need more sun and less sub-zero temperatures in order to start my training...The ugly, if I continue at this rate I will experience real physical pain in June! :)

March's Preparation Update: If I had trained as many times as I said "Tomorrow I will cycle to work" I would probably be ready for the Olympics. I promise I will say less and do more in April.

April's Preparation Update:  Wall of fame, wall of blame or wall of shame? After a marathon runner overtook me while I was cycling, I went in complete denial, blamed by hybrid bike and decided to buy a road bike, so I'm now learning how to cycle again with slim wheels! :)

Mays's Preparation Update: The story of 136m and a puncture. The highlight of this month was going to Switzerland, where I tried to break my legs by bungy-jumping from a gondola (not for charity) but I'm still here, so looks like I am still going to cycle to Paris...also got my first puncture. Stupid glass.

Junes's Preparation Update: I liked Rich....mond Park, I loved Kent...the Great Kent, cycling that is..all those moments of joy are now forgotten - 2 days to Paris and I am unlikely to update this again as my brain is frozen with fear!

I hope you have enjoyed reading...any donation will be much appreciated and it will help me in achieving the target for Sense...the more the merrier!

Thank you for all the online support and also thank you for all the offline donations (Erika, Muharrem, JD, Jason, Turlough, Daniel, Nick and Guy).
