Story
Oh no 13 miles to run!
As many of you may know I am not a natural athlete, however knowing Louis I decided to get my trainers on and take part in The Great North Run in October '08 whilst still 40!
Louis is 3 years old and lives in The Lake District and on his 1st birthday was diagnosed with retinoblastoma. Due to the nature of the cancer his older sister also receives regularly checks. In August '08 Louis had the eye removed and we all now wish him well on his road to recovery.
What is retinoblastoma?
A cancer which develops in the cells of the retina in young children - a rare cancer which affects approx, 40 children per year.
