I was  a complete novice to running when I started in Jan, but am  now going to run 10 km for LOOK, the national charity for visually impaired children.
I  became involved  following a very sociable evening with the deeply persuasive mother of Katie who is visually impaired. As a result of the half-nelson applied I have been providing hours of amusement to my family  staggering around the lanes of Yorkshire, muttering ” just a bit further…” Ive also bored all my friends  with my moans and groans..so thanks for putting up with me !

 Having witnessed the struggles and frustrations in getting diagnosis and information ,I feel this is a fantastic charity. It provides practical information and support ,advice and networking to affected families……
