We empower local communities to end child poverty

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page in support of the Twenty5 Ethiopia campaign as part of St Matthew's Children's Fund Ethiopia.

Twenty5 has been set up by St Matthew’s Children’s Fund (SMCF) which, with its Ethiopian partner JeCCDO, runs community development programmes in the urban areas of . The programmes are designed to enable local people to develop a sustainable future for themselves.

JeCCDO has been working in since 1984, initially setting up orphanages for those children orphaned by famine and civil war. Gradually this support evolved to help rebuild entire communities enabling them to look after their orphan and vulnerable children. Twenty5 will mark this work but is also aimed at raising awareness about, and funds for, the work that still needs to be done.

At Remarkable, we are continuing to support SMCF through various fundraising efforts, as well as by providing PR support and video production support through Remarkable's video and motion graphics division, Reko.
