Story
In Memory of Noah 26th March - 4th June 2008
Thank you for visiting Noah's fundraising page in aid of FSID Charity.
On Saturday 16th May 2009 we will be walking a mile in memory an event launched by FSID in May 2008, as part of Save A Baby Month.
The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID) is the UK's leading baby charity working to prevent sudden deaths and promote health. FSID funds research, supports bereaved families and promotes safe baby care advice...
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor Noah: Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Sudden Infant Death Syndrome is the number one killer of babies under 1 year of age in the UK alone with over 300 deaths every year. Every one of these statistics represents a very real, very raw loss for families, who can struggle to cope in the aftermath of such a bereavement. FSID's helpline and network of befrienders make all the difference: at the darkest of times, having such a sympathetic, sensitive source of support makes all the difference. Following the death of our beautiful baby boy Noah in June 2008, we have received invaluable support from all at FSID, and your generous donation will not only help to provide this sort of aid to other families in this desperate situation, but will also help FSID's research efforts, in the hope that one day no-one will have to go through what we have.
Thank you very much for your support.
