In 1914 Penny's Great Grandfather was in retreat from Mons to Paris during World War One. During this time he wrote a detailed war diary describing events and the route they took. It is a fascinating read so we thought we would get on our bikes and cycle the 340 mile route from August the 31st to September the 5th.

In the spirit of the story, we thought we would also raise money for Help for Heroes.
