About our planned trip

Three wheels, half a horse power and more fun than any other vehicle on planet Earth the humble Rickshaw is undoubtedly the ultimate long distance, off road machine, despite being designed for short distances on road.

The plan is to take 2 weeks driving a 150cc rickshaw from Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India to Cochin, India - according to Google maps a total distance of 2,458 kilometres.

Why? We are raising money for the Frank Water Project - http://www.frankwater.com (funds sustainable clean water projects in developing countries across the world), and our aim is to raise well over AUD$2000.

Huge mountains, dirt tracks, tropical jungle, elephants, many thousands of interested locals and the odd monsoon are just some of the things we expect to encounter on the journey.
