We raise funds for the JCUH Cardio Unit to improve care for heart patients

Story

Sadly on the 20th July 2011 our dad passed away suddenly after 9 years of suffering from Heart failure.

We have organised an annual rugby game on Saturday 19th July at Acklam Rugby Club to firstly remember him but at the same time to to raise as much money as we can for Heart related charities. Over the past 2 years we have raised over £5,000 in his memory for charity.

This year we would like to raise money for the South Cleveland Heart Fund in their quest to raise £1 million in order to purchase a new state of the art MRI scanner. This will enable The James Cook University Hospital to keep the Regional Cardiothoraisc Centre at the leading edge of advances of care for heart patients.

We have not set any kind of target and there is no minimum donation as any contribution is kindly received.

Thanks

Dan & Steve
