Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page of the RICS matrics Anniversary Challenge.
The Anniversary Challenge is raising money for two charities; LionHeart (the RICS's benevolent fund) and The Stroke Association. The JustGiving page for the former can be found here - http://www.justgiving.com/ricsmatrics2010challengelionheart
The challenge is split into two parts; firstly, RICS matrics Chairman Mark Humphries will be travelling from John o'Groats to Land's End witihin 120 hours (to coincide with the 120 years of RICS matrics) whilst visiting each of the twelve RICS regions and carrying out a mystery challenge at each one. This part of the challenge will take place between 18:00 on Monday 22nd March 2010 to 18:00 on Saturday 27th March 2010.
Secondly, each region is attemtping to raise £1'200.00 (by aiming for 10 people each raising £120.00) by carrying out local sponsored activities. These actitivies will be taking place up until Saturday 27th March 2010. Should you wish to sponsor someone taking part in these actitivies, please make sure you include the name of the person taking part and where they are from in the 'message' section of the donation to ensure that all those taking part get the mention and appreciation that they fully deserve.
Finally, an enormous thank you to all those of you from every corner of the UK for both taking part in the challenge or sponsoring someone who is. From every donation, every penny matters no matter how big or small the donation and, every single one goes towards making a massive difference for those who are in need of help.
For further information on any aspect of the challenge, please contact Andrew Muckle, RICS matrics & UK Co-ordinator on 020 7334 3743 or at amuckle@rics.org.
