Story

Over the last few years a team from LST has successfully managed to complete a number of charity challenges such as the National 3 Peaks within the allotted time of 24 hours, the 3 highest peaks in the Lake District between Dawn and Dusk, and the Welsh 3000s, 18 peaks of which 14 of are over 3000 ft again in 24 hours …and this year our aim is to complete a 100km walk along the Ridgeway National Trail in an approximate 24 hour period on the 13 - 14 June 2008.

We have chosen this year something a little different than previous years, the challenge being to cover greater distance rather than altitude within a 24hour period. The walk will entail the completion of 100kms of the Ridgeway National Trail starting at Ivinghoe Beacon in the East and walking West and completing at the White Horse on Uffington. As always, fitness, team work and having some fun will be the key to success.
