Welcome to Step Out for Children 2010!

Starwood Hotels EAME in partnership with UNICEF aim to raise $200,000 for the Road to Awareness campaign to raise money for the 'Schools for Africa' project in South Africa.

The donations raised by Starwood associates in EAME will support Phase 2 of the Schools for Africa campaign in South Africa, including the following:

. Support for 1,500 orphans and vulnerable children in 5 rural schools to stay in school and complete primary education;
. Sport for Development activities in 18 schools across South
Africa;
. Training for 70 teachers in child-friendly teaching
methodologies (creating a safer and more caring school
environment), and leadership training for 20 principals.

To contribute towards the EAME fundraising target of $200,000 Starwood associates in England will walk 13 miles from the Sheraton Skyline Hotel at Heathrow to the Sheraton Park Tower Hotel in Knightsbridge. Along the way there will be challenges to complete and of course, lots of fun and sore feet!
