Fundraising for Macular Society
Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, your support is greatly appreciated.
As you may or may not know, I am running the London Marathon in honour of my late Grandfather, Ron 'Grampsy' Beacroft, who suffered terribly at the hands of Macular Disease. The impact on his quality of life was so adverse, it has lead me to support wholeheartedly the work done by The Macular Disease Society, for which Grampsy was a strong advocate.
I am currently training 5 times a week and will have run a total of 420 miles before 13th April, with a view to completing the marathon in 3hrs45mins! This is a commitment I am happy and excited to undertake, all I ask for is your support, please dig deep and sponsor me online.
