Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our beautiful daughter, Robyn Bryce, died 9 hours after she was born.  It has absolutely devastated us and we miss her every day.  I now want to raise money for SANDS to help them continue their investigation into reducing the risk of unexplained deaths in babies so other families will not have to experience the heartache that we have.

We did it!!!  As well as the early start for a Sunday [4th October], we all managed to run or walk our way through the 10km course.  We even did it quicker than we thought.  Well done to everyone for doing it with me and thank you all so much for your donations.  It would have been Robyn's 2nd birthday on 5th October and I think we did her proud.

In April 2009, I raised £631 by having a cake sale through the generosity of my friends and family baking cakes and my work colleagues for buying them! And looks like we're getting to our target of £1000 for this event.  I'd cross my fingers, but my limbs all ache from running!
