Story

On 2nd September we're cycling 100km in a team of people from Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council to raise money for the sustainable transport charity, Sustrans and the Christie Hospital (cancer treatment centre) in Manchester.

JustGiving does not have the facility for us to donate to two charities using one site!

Sustrans have very kindly agreed to receive all payments and make sure that half of all the money raised goes to Christie's.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sustrans and Christie's will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

The ride starts and finishes at Wythenshawe Park, Manchester. The route heads first to Northwich, taking in Delamere Forest and Nantwich for lunch (the half way point) before heading back through Middlewich to the Finish.  For more info go to www.bike-events.com.

**If you do not want to sponsor on line you can send a cheque or postal order made payable to Sustrans, post this  to Howard Gott, Environmental Management, Green Lane, Heywood, OL10 2DY.  Alternatively speak to one of the riders direct about sponsoring them.**

Below is a list of who's taking part.  If you are supporting one of the riders please mention their name.
