On the 12th June Claire Atchison, Jenny Brookes, Tim Spencer and Darren White (oh and not forgetting Julie Jones our driver!) will be attempting the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge in aid of a truly worthwhile cause and we need your help to make this a success....

 

Starting at 4am on Saturday 12th June, from Pen y Pass, Snowdonia, we will take on Snowdon.  Jason will then drive down to the mighty Cadair Idris (also in Snowdonia) which we will then try to conquer....before continuing south to Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons. We have to walk a total distance of 20.35 miles and make a total ascent of 9,397ft (2,864m) whilst still going to work on Monday morning!!!!......

 

We are raising money for Tŷ Hafan who were established in 1999 to provide respite, palliative and end of life care to the children in Wales who suffer from life-limiting conditions and are not expected to reach nineteen years of age.

Children suffer from various conditions, such as Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Cystic Fibrosis and Celebral Palsy. Some children are diagnosed at birth; others receive no diagnosis or at some point treatment is abandoned. Children and their families might receive our support for many years or just for a few days at the end of life. Either way, Tŷ Hafan provides love, care and support for the children and their families absolutely free of charge.

Tŷ Hafan is a registered charity and was established entirely from public donations. It now costs £2.5 million a year to run the hospice and all but 17% (Government funding) is raised through the generosity of our donors and supporters.
