The two of us have always said that one day we will complete a marathon.  I think the saying goes..."be careful what you wish for - it may come true".  Well, it has done!

April 17 2011 will see us lacing up our trainers and we will be running the Virgin 2011 London Marathon.

The training has already started, the miles are clocking up and the shin splints are kicking in!

We are running on behalf of The Laura Centre (T.L.C) who provide high quality counselling and support, when a child dies or is bereaved. TLC is the nominated charity of the Leicester office of Weightmans. Our aim is to raise at least £2000 for TLC. Please click on the link on this page, to see the invaluable work that TLC carry out.

As if running a marathon wasn’t enough, we will be warming up for the main event by taking part in the Liverpool Half Marathon a few weeks earlier on 27 March 2011 too.
