Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I am climbing to Everest base camp, the World's highest mountain (8,848 metres) between the 2nd and 18th November 2007 in aid of the National Maternity Support Foundation.

I have a great motivation for doing this as my brother Ben and Sister-in-law Katie lost their baby Ella Daisy as a result of an unnecessarily traumatic birth at an NHS hospital after a perfect pregnancy.

The walk is going to be strenuous due to high altitude and thin air and involves crossing a long suspension bridge, rocky dunes, morraine and streams to reach the base camp at 5,545 metres.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me. The National Maternity Support Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
