Story

Following in the footsteps of our colleagues from Consulting last year, 16 intrepid souls from Tax are taking part in the Rowathon 2009 - a challenge which will see each of them row the distance of a marathon (that's a whopping 26.2 miles) on an indoor rowing machine.  Between them the Tax team will be rowing over 400 miles - that's enough to get them to Edinburgh!

Nine teams from across the firm are taking part in the challenge, each representing their service line or department.  Why not show your appreciation for their efforts by making a donation to our National Charity Partners, Cancer Research UK and the NSPCC.  After all, the battle isn't to see which team will finish fastest (rowing a marathon is challenge enough without that kind of pressure)....  The battle at hand is to see which service area will be crowned the fundraising champions!  Tax always give generously to support our charity partners and we're hoping that this event will prove to be no exception and will see us take the title of top Rowathon fundraisers.

When making a donation, if you're a taxpayer, please don't forget to check the box for Gift Aid, which will add 28% to your donation.

So please, give generously in support of Cancer Research UK, the NSPCC and our colleagues, to help motivate our intrepid team through their gruelling training sessions and many hours with a numb bum!
