I am running the 10 mile Great South Run on Sunday 24th October in memory of my lovely wife and your wonderful friend. Kim spent some 6 months being treated by the Royal Marsden. Sadly no trial drug helped, however there are many people who visit the Marsden regularly whose lives are extended beyond their wildest dreams thanks to scientists, doctors and nurses. This success is boosted by fundraising such as this event. Over 180 runners will be running on the day on behalf of the Marsden. If all raised £1,000 each what a difference it could make to people who live in hope of a cure. Thanks very much.
