I'm running 10 miles in the Great South Run - that's 16 kilometers, and it'll be the biggest race I've ever done. I'm aiming to do it in 1 and a half hours, which will involved running the whole course - although fortunately I have a medley of cheesy disco tunes on my ipod to get me through the race. Also to put this into a bit of context: this time last year I could run about 100 feet before collapsing in a heap.

Please sponsor me - all the money's going to Childline who do a really important job - everyday they get called 4,500 times but due to a lack of funds only 2,500 of these calls get through. It costs £3 to answer a child's call, so I'm aiming to raise enough to answer 100 calls for help.
