Story

Hi there,

Thanks for visiting my page.

On the back of running the Brighton Marathon earlier this year with various niggles and recovering from covid I'm running the London marathon in October. This is on the back of having to pull out last year due to injury, and am very grateful to YMCA to deferring my place.

My target is to raise £2,000 for the YMCA  but I aim to smash this with your support.

YMCA background

YMCA is the largest and the oldest youth charity in the world. Who focus on young people and help them play a fulfilling role within their communities.

For some young people, even everyday life can feel like a marathon. Our team is running to change that. The money raised through the London Marathon will enable us to provide safe accommodation for homeless young people, support for those with mental health problems, and the opportunity for others to access life-changing education and training. And if you donate now, your generosity will be felt in around 740 communities across England and Wales where we are making a difference to the lives of more than 630,000 people every year. Thank you for whatever you can give to support our fantastic #TeamYMCA.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
