Running for more than a burst of about 10 seconds is very unusual for me, so to commit to this half marathon is plain stupid.  However, my 6 year old niece is seriously ill with leukaemia, and has provided the inspiration for me to try and do something to help her and others who suffer with this dreadful disease.

The "Run to the Beat" London Half Marathon is on 5th October 2008, and starts and finishes at the O2 Arena.  I've typically left it very late to start my sponsorship effort, but would really appreciate any support you are able to provide.
