Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

On Sunday 25th July this year, Tony Crossfield, Danny Nortcliffe, Alex Marland and Rob Halliwell of South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service are cycling from Buckingham Palace to Edinburgh Castle. This is a distance of about 400 miles and, with the exception of stopping to eat and "convenience" breaks, will be completed non stop - each of us cycling the full 400 miles and not as part of a relay. Our support team, Graham Wilkinson, Mike Anthony, Ian Barwell and Col Dickerson, will be shaddowing the ride and provide us with food, snacks and any other assistance to keep us going!

Our chosen charity is Weston Park Hospital which is 1 of only 3 dedicated cancer treatment hospitals in the country. It not only deals with treating patients but also with research and development which benefits everybody.  Many of us on the team have witnessed the devastation this disease can cause and with this in mind and the enormity of our challenge, we hope that you will support us.

About the charity

For one in two of us, cancer will change everything. When it does, so can we. Our services, advice, therapies and support are for you and the people close to you, helping everyone to live with and beyond cancer. The funds we raise also support vital, pioneering research and clinical trials.
