We're tackling a VERY hilly marathon hike along the Gower Peninsula beside a team of extraordinary women: we've called ourselves the Wandering Ponderers!  Mothers and daughters, god-daughters, old friends with new friends, all joining together to celebrate the lives of those we love and have lost to cancer and to fundraise for the fantastic charity, Macmillan Cancer Support.

We are walking in celebration of life itself, while remembering too the lives of Jamie, a superstar son and brother, Kathy, my most wonderful friend who 'let!' me be godmother to the beautiful Alice, and Fliss, who came into our lives more recently but had compassion and empathy in bucket loads for everyone, regardless of her illness.

Every member of our team, at some point, have had their experience eased by the unwavering support of important cancer support charities. We all have friends and family who are living with cancer and we want to raise as much money as possible for this fabulous charity, with their incredible nurses, so that lives can be made more comfortable. Hopefully, our fundraising efforts will help Macmillan continue to reach and improve the lives of people living with cancer and their families.
