When I first came up with this idea of arranging a Credit Suisse charity motorcycle tour I never really imagined it would develop a life of it's own!  But here it is - in full technicolour.  So....In support of Credit Suisse’s Charity of the Year 2008, The Place2Be, I will be riding my motorcycle around the country with colleagues from Credit Suisse from Friday 4th July to Sunday 6th July. 

We'll be covering around 800 miles of A & B roads and be in the saddle 8 - 9 hours a day.  The trip starts at the CS offices in Canary Wharf .  We go up North to Yorkshire, across to Cumbria, back down through the Yorkshire moors and head on  through the Peak District eventually returning to London very tired !

I've been tasked with raising £2000 in sponsorship so please dig deep and sponsor me!   You can see from my video that I definitely need help!  Yes, riding round the country is a pleasant thing to do and why should you sponsor me?  This tour is more about highlighting the work the Place2Be carry out and bringing a bit of focus to them.  We'll be visiting some of the Place2Be centres and seeing with our own eyes the good work they do.

All funds raised through Moto2Be will go to The Place2Be – a charity working inside schools to support and nurture troubled children. They provide one-to-one and group counselling sessions, plus a drop-in service open to all school pupils. By providing children with a safe place to explore their problems through talking, creative work and play, they are better able to cope and therefore make better informed decisions about their lives.
