I AM RISKING LIFE AND LIMB BY JUMPING OUT OF A PLANE AT 10,000 FEET-ALL IN THE NAME OF CHARITY!!

Shine is a charity set up by my friend Vineet. The charity team is in the process of building a school in Zambia and I wanted to help out in my own small way.

Here are some facts he sent me:

To give you an idea of how far your money can go, 10 pounds will feed our children for a month (we have a feeding programme that means our pupils learn on a full stomach); 40 pounds pays one of our teachers for a month; 100 pounds will put 2 children through our programme for a year.

So my target  of £300 will put 6 children through the school programme for a year. This is something we all take for granted in our daily lives.

Vineet and his team have donated a lot of time and effort to this cause. The least we can do is help to make lives a little better for those less fortunate!
