Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am planning a trip in February 2011- to the Peruvian Amazon! I will be working on the ships that take medical care to remote villages along the Amazon river.

It is something I have felt that I should do for some years, and now appears to be the time! It will be personally challenging for me in many ways, but I really hope to make a difference, and feel sure that it will also be a rewarding experience.

Not looking forward to the heat or the snakes,  but otherwise excited... 

I am funding the trip myself, but also want to raise money to give towards the upkeep and supplies of the medical ships.

£8 will fuel ships to enable them to visit 100 people

£18 pays for fluoride applications to 45 children, to prevent decay

£26 funds a cataract operation on board.

So anything you can donate will be well used and useful.
