Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On 14th December 2013 the crew of the Wyre Forest Rescue Station will be climbing the equivalent height of the three highest peaks in the UK. That's Ben Nevis at 1344m, Snowdon at 1085m and Scarfell Pike at 978m which combined make a whopping 3407m rock climb!

The team will be heavily supported by Wolf Mountain Indoor Climbing Centre, Wolverhampton who are providing the crew with access to their fantastic facilities and equipment.

Wyre Forest Rescue Station, located in Kidderminster is one of four rescue stations which make up the Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA). SARA is a highly trained and motivated professional local search and rescue team composed entirely of volunteers from all walks of life. The crews are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days per year to provide assistance to the emergency services with specialist land search teams and inshore lifeboat capabilities.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
