Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. 

From the 9th to the 15th April I will be competing in the 'Marathon des Sables' which is a 7 day, 150-mile self-sufficiency desert marathon run across the Sahara desert in stages of varying length of between 20 and 50 miles. All food and equipment must be carried on my back for the duration of the race. The French organisers of this international event only provide an open 'Berber' tent and 10 litres of water per day.

Conditions I will encounter vary from running in the Atlas mountains , over Salt lakes and the worlds biggest sand dunes. Temperatures in the day will reach 50c and drop towards 0c at night. It is commonly regarded as the most gruelling endurance race on earth.

For those of you that have suspected for years that I was mad, this should finally confirm it.
