Story
The Warrington Wolves Foundation, like so many charities across the UK, has been hugely impacted by the cancellation of our fundraising events due to COVID-19. As a consequence, we expect our fundraising to be reduced by around 50% because of the virus.
We'd really appreciate your help to raise valuable funds for the Warrington Wolves Foundation doing something you enjoy.
So tomorrow is the start of the 2.6 Challenge, I should of been running the London Marathon in aid of the amazing project Offload which challenges the stigma of Mental Health. From living with Mental Health as a young person from supporting family it never goes away and a challenge for anyone living with it. It is important that each invidual searches for the help they need however that is harder than anyone can think.
So me and my son Archie have decided instead of Joe Wicks PE home schooling session we will run 2.6 mile each day for 13 days.
Each day to help support fund-raising the Warrington Squad have donated there Offload warm up tops. They have all been signed with a positive message attached. We will post one each day before we set of and the highest donation will win shirt and we will send out to you.
These are Challenging times for everyone we all need each other and its harder for some people more than others.
Mental Health is a Challenge everyday, by taking on the 2.6 Challenge gives you a purpose and can support others with our community. So Challenge yourself? or just give us a follow and support the Foundation.
