I founded Save Our Melons in 2014. In simple terms it was born out of a chain of events that could, has or did happen to many of us. 

My Mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2013. Shock, worry, uncertainty, emptiness, loneliness are feelings and thoughts that pass through your mind within seconds.

However, the love, care, information and attention she and THOUSANDS of women (and men) receive everyday, 24/7 by the NHS is simply astounding.

I have enlisted a group of my friends, colleagues and total strangers to join me on a quest to raise £100,000.00 for Breast Cancer Care.

Many of these people have a similar story to tell, these stories can be found on www.saveourmelons.co.uk and www.facebook.com/saveourmelons. There are also real time updates and information on our Facebook page.

We have have now completed three events. The London to Paris bike ride, The National 3 Peaks challenge and also the Monopoly walk in London. We have also had numerous people taking part in their own sporting events or challenges and have directed their donors to the Save Our Melons page.

Please just take a little time to read our stories, updates and progress.
