Story

Hi there,

I'm taking part in the The Rob Roy Challenge 2008 on Saturday 21st June to raise money for Habitat for Humanity, The Prince's Trust, The Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust, The Place2Be (see below).

If you can please take a moment to sponsor me. It's really easy - you can donate online by credit or debit card at the following address:

http://www.justgiving.com/scotmcrae

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: funds are sent direct to the charities electronically, so they get your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

I am trying to raise £1,000 and am at £600 at the moment, so please sponsor me now!

Many thanks,

Scot.

Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity is an international house building charity with representation in 92 countries. The vision of Habitat for Humanity is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. They want to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the face of the earth.

The Prince's Trust
The Prince's Trust helps young people overcome barriers and get their lives working. Through practical support including training, mentoring and financial assistance, we help 14-30 year olds realise their potential and transform their lives.

PSYBT
The Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust was established in 1989 to help young people across Scotland set up and continue in business. We work with 18-25 year olds, providing a combination of essential seed loan funding, and a package of professional support, including the provision of a volunteer business mentor, to guide and advise the young people, whoever they are and wherever they come from. PSYBT has a particular concern for the disadvantaged. PSYBT helps to establish over 550 new businesses each year, from chimney sweeps to graphic designers, hairdressers to engineers.

Place2Be
Place2Be works inside schools to support and nurture troubled children. They provide one-to-one and group counselling sessions, and a drop-in service to all school pupils. By providing children with a safe place to explore their problems through talking, creative work and play, they enable them to cope now and to make better-informed decisions about their lives. Place2Be also supports parents, carers, teachers and other school staff members and offers training for volunteers, staff and adults working with children.

About the charity
