Just to keep everyone who has been kind enough to donate updated as to what we are doing with the funds raised, we are still trying to collect all the money in asap. We are hoping to have collected it all by the end of this month.

Once we have done this and know exactly how much we have raised we will let everyone know which local charities we will be able to help and how much we will be able to give.

My mum Christine Woodberry lost her battle with ovarian cancer on 13th April 2008.Mum was truly an amazing lady who never complained about her illness but just got on with trying to beat this horrible disease.

In honour of Mum, i managed to persuade my friend Jon and uncle Richard to climb Mount Kilimanjaro with me back in August. It seems so long ago now tht we managed to achieve our goals and reach the summit. I cannot explain the feeling of making it to the 'roof of Africa' but i hope mum would be proud of all three of us.

Thanks to everyone who has donated to the cause. I just know that the money we have raised will help patients and their families deal with and cope with cancer.
