As you probably know, my husband Alan died last year after 20 months of cancer treatment. We were first introduced to the Dundee Maggie's Centre after seeing his oncologist for the first time. We were amazed at this little oasis at the end of the car park. An amazing building, with incredible people inside. Throughout the whole of Alan's treatment, Lesley, Karen, Sheila and everyone else at Maggie's were there to help us pick up the pieces, make us tea/coffee, offer financial/treatment advice, offer a shoulder to lean on when things got tough, and big hugs when things got even tougher. They are still a big part of my life, and they are worth their weight in gold, which is why I'm doing this abseil. Those of you who know me, already know I have an insane adventure streak, so it didn't take much persuasion for me to sign up.

I'd be grateful if you could spare a few pounds so I can try and reach my target of £200. I realise that a lot of people sponsored me for my skydive last year, and folk at work generously donate to the Maggie's charity can when I bring in home baking, so please just give what you can :)
