MAGGIES MONSTER BIKE AND HIKE 2010... MAY 1st - MAY 2nd 2010

The bike and hike is an event which takes us along the Great Glen Way from Fort William to Inverness.  The event is split into 2 disciplines... A 30 mile cycle followed by a 43 mile hike to the finish... or possibly in my case to the death...lol

I am taking part in the event above,  those of you who know me will appreciate how big an undertaking this will be for me.  I, along with Tom Faichen (random bloke from my gym) intend to complete the course within 18hrs or as close to it as possible.

1/01/10 - The new year see's the start of some serious training for the MONSTER,  should be on track for a reasonable time...  Please donate...i'm in PAIN !!!

11/04/10 - Training is going well,  cycling quite alot.....The hike could be the sore bit !!!

 

13/04/410 - Just been e-mailed our start time for the event 0700hrs !!!!!..... Cycling at that un-godly hour should be fun !!!lol

 

22/04/10 - Just over a week to go !!!  Strangely looking forward to this now...
